Undocumented variable ACMPROFILE

Anyone know what ACMPROFILE controls?  Its not in HELP and i found nothing via Google nor the forums search bar.

The ACMPROFILE system variable indicates if the current profile is an AutoCAD Mechanical (ACM) profile or not.  

ACMPROFILE = 1, indicates that the current profile is an ACM profile

ACMPRIFOLE = 0, indicates that the current profile is not an ACM profile

This is only an indication and does not enact a switch from an ACM profile to a non ACM profile.
