The UCS keeps changing but I've tried all options w/ UCSDETECT and UCSFOLLOW. Neither does crap. How do I fix this it's extremely annoying.
Is this happening on even new drawings or does it seem to be file specific? If it is file specific can you attach it here and I can take a look at it? Also I would go through the USC variables to make sure they are set to the defaults.
It does the same w/ everything. If it were just a problem w/ updating before drawing I could deal w/ it but I need to take hundreds of measurements in addition to making step files that seem to never have a consistent UCS despite setting the UCS to world each time before exporting.
To those having the same problems I found the solution. Options>AM Preferences>Enable UCS to view. Set this to off.
Hello,
I am having the same problem. I'm using AuoCAD Plant 3D 2017 to route pipe. I have four viewports set up in my model space (TOP, FRONT, LEFT & ISO). In each of the TOP, FRONT, LEFT viewports, Y is up, X is Right and Z is into the page. The UCS is set up in this fashion, but as soon as i route a pipe and click ESCAPE to finish my Pipe, the UCS automatically switches back to World. Then i have to change that viewport back to TOP or FRONT or LEFT (depending which viewport i'm working in). I've tried all solutions written above, but i could not find "OPTIONS-->AM Preferences-->Enable UCS to View". Instead i have the UCS Options open (type UCSMAN) and the "Sve UCS with Viewport" selected, but UCS keeps switching back to world. Any help?
Thanks,
Jamie
