Text Appearing on Drawings in 2007 Mech

I recently upgraded from 2006 Mech to 2007 Mech. Many of my drawings now have text on the layout that shouldn't be there. It's the same text and it's in the same location on all the affected drawings. When I go back and open up those drawings in 2006 Mech, the text is not there. I attached one of the drawings as a sample. The drawing should have only the cable with a single balloon. Notice the text above and below the cable that doesn't belong. Any clue as to what's going on?

May I know how this drawing was created? It appears that the text is already
there in Mechanical 2006, it just wasn't displayed because of the wrong
formatting. You may try to delete all the entities in the layout and do a
CTRL+A, LIST them you'll see them.

Thanks

Those drawings were all created from the same template we are no longer using. This has affected about 100 of our drawings and we are cleaning them up now. I checked our current template and it looks good.

I really appreciate the feedback. I was concerned we had a problem that we'd be dealing with on an ongoing basis.

Just to understand it a little better, do you know what caused the text to appear in 2007 and not in 2006? Is there a default setting that enabled it to become visible?

Robert,

It's not the setting change, but a problem in 2007 that displays the MTEXT
with wrong formatting. We're still looking into it.

However, we need to know why the MTEXT with bad formatting was generated in
the first place. Is it possible to post the original template to us? You may
send to yun.liu@autodesk.com.

Thanks
