Tangent to angle

HI all,

Using Acad 2014 Mech.

I am trying (unsuccessfully) to create a line at 20° off the tangent of a circle to an unknown end point which I will trim later.

I have drawn the circle (Ø0.625") and select line, shift r-click, select tangent, click the circle in the correct (ish) spot and drag off to the right (in my case) and it will allow me to put end points in, but no angle.

How can I get the angle?

tks so much!

Try using the @ method:

Draw circle.

Select line command.

Select tangent snap

Select circle already drawn.

Type in command line - @15<20 ...This places a line 15 units in length at 20 degrees from horizontal and still tangent from circle.
