Single line text spacing

Will someone tell me how to change the default spacing for single line text?

When we insert single line text sometimes we have more than one line, we like our text to be spaced

at 1.5x the text height.  When typing we hit enter AutoCAD starts the next line at 1.62x the text height.

We don't want to use multiline text so please don't suggest that.

Can I change the scale factor in a setting somewhere?

Thanks in advance.

Very Sorry, There is no direct way to define the line space for single line text.

But there is a workaround: Use the Mtext with defined linespace to input the text, then explode it.

Wish this could help you.

Set your snap spacing to 1.5 x your text height. Start the first line of text on a snap point. When you hit enter to go to the next line of text, click on the next snap point.
