sectioning problems in mechanical 2014

How to do sectioning in 3D modelling in autoCAD mechanical 2014? I have tried with commands 'sectionplane' but it is not working in mech 2014 and the an error of 'unknown command' is returned

Hi,
on other post, i have seen that there was other option to do the sectioning in autocad mech 2014.

In the layout tab, click on the 'Base', it will lead you to select the object that you want to create a view, then it will go into the layout view and allows you to keep the object where you want.

In addition it allows to drag the views and you need and section too.

 

This is really simple than all those setting change and steps.

 

I have attached the tab view to understand better.

 

This works Autocad mechanical 2014.
