link inventor dwg to mechanical dwg in model

Hi,

 

I have an inventor dwg 2D. Can I open it in Autocad Mechanical in model mode?

 

I know i can export the inventor dwg to a mechanical dwg, but if i do that, the updates aren't automatically, so, there should be another way (?)
