Incompatible version error 2013-2014

When a ACM2014 drawing is opened in ACM2014 you get the following alert.

I was made to believe that there were no version differences between dwg 2014 and dwg 2013 - Have I've been mistaken or is something else the matter?

(It's been solved for now by letting 2014 save down, but I was not aware this would be needed)

Hi

There is version difference between AutoCAD Mechanical 2013 and AutoCAD Mechanical 2014.

Users will be restricted when they open AutoCAD Mechanical 2014 dwg in AutoCAD Mechanical 2013.

However, there isn't version any difference between Vanilla AutoCAD 2013 and AutoCAD 2014.

Also, you may open AutoCAD Mechanical 2014 drawing in Vanilla AutoCAD 2013

Hope this helps

Thanks,

Thanks, for the moment we'll just let ACM 2014 save down to 2013 until everybody has been upgraded to 2014.

As a help: does anyone know the subfix for the LISP "vla-SaveAs" command that will let me save down to ACM2013?

You can use the command "AMSAVEASACADM2013". You can also call from lisp.
