Help getting Mechanical Desktop 2005 to run on Windows 7

I was able to install and run Mcad 2005 on my new Windows 7 computer.  But now I can the occational error:

dblayoti.cpp@102: eNotThatKindOfClass, and my file is currupt and I can not open it.

AutoCAD since 2010 release will start supporting Windows 7. See the link below.
