Flatshot command

Will the flatshot command preserve layers and linetypes of the 3D model? If not is there a command that will?

Seems like the last 3D project I was able to flatshot and keep all layers and linetypes.

See attached for FLATSHOT settings. To keep individual objects on specific layers with linetypes, I believe you will have to perform several FLATSHOT routines. Otherwise, everything will be on the layer and with the linetype you designate.

The FLATSHOT command will create a block that places all objects on a single layer, however you can indicate different colors and linetypes for the Foreground Lines and Obscured Lines.  I believe that the FLATTEN (Express Tool) command will better suit your needs.  This command will allow the 3D objects to retain their original layers, linetypes, colors and other object properties where possible.  It would be suggested that you use this command on a "copy" of your original 3D object / assembly as to not loose the initial work created.
