Fatal Error

A colleague of mine is having serious computer problems with crashing and fatal errors. The main one that he is encountering is FATAL ERROR: Unhandled Access Violation Reading 0x644cebac Exception at 6517d152h
He said his computer crashes approximately 25 times a day because of this error and has autosave set at 1 min. Any info regarding this error would be great

Please have your colleague run the AMVER command and then report back with the output. We can't make any suggestions about potential fixes without knowing what version of the program is being used. -- Mike Dickason Developer Manufacturing Solutions Division Autodesk, Inc.

He is running AutoCAD 2005, He logged some of the other errors he has frequently, they are as follows:
FATAL ERROR: Unhandled Access Violation Reading 0x644b6674 Exception at 6517d152h...... The other is an INTERNAL ERROR: !dbqspace.h@410: eUnkownHandle
this error totally corrupted the dwg, to where the file cant be accessed.

He has installed service pack 1 for 2005, He thinks it might be hardware related, The internal error that corrupted his dwg. on friday is one that is scary, he lost 3 days worth of work. I thought maybe the error messages (numbers & letters) meant something and maybe you could shed a little light on the problem. Thanks for the help.
