enable snap on paper space when working in model space

Hi,

When working in model space, i cannot able to snap the x-line which i created in paper space. Actually, i have more than five view ports in my drawings to match the plan and end views. To check the matching, if i create x line in paper space and then go to model space to correct the drawing as per the projections. But, at that time, i cannot able to snap the x line.

Kindly suggest the solution.

Regards,

Suresh

Hi Suresh,

You need to be in paper space to snap entities between in model space and paper space. If you really want to snap entities on paper space when it's in model space, I think you can use change space for that entities in paper space by using "chspace" and follow the prompts. It resizes your object and places it in model/paper space for you depending on which direction you are trying to go.

Thanks.
