i am using 2015 mechanical AutoCAD w/ a vanilla profile
First off i am a point and click type user which
means i rather click to activate a command rather than use the key board to do so.
i have my right click customization set to
in defualt mode:
if no obect is selected i get a short cut menu
in edit mode:
if one or more object are selected i get a shortcut menu
and in command mode:
if a command is in progress right click mean enter
when i select either a muilti text or a single text and i right click i get a menu that give me the option to edit the text
however when i right click a dimension text i get no way to altar or modify the dimension text in the same method as the other text edit options
i either have to type ED to active the command or add the text in the qiuck properies menu that pops up.
i rather just right click to activate the command like the other text options
Why not double left click on the text? The text editor appears after that here. Same with text, Mtext, and dimension text.
By preforming a double left clicking it doesn't activate the dimension text
it does activate the single text and the multi text like you said but not the dimsension text for some reason
However i found another way to activate the dimesion text which allow me to aviod having to type "ED"
i was able to locate a clickable item which activate the dimesion text
so problem solved for the most part
