differences in 2007 to 2012

hey guys, my work currently uses autocad mechanical 2007 and i need to learn is as quickly as i can.  i was wondering if i could download the free trial of mechanical 2012 and purchase a tutorial book and learn it at home.  so if i do learn mechanical 2012 will the 2007 that i have to use at work be easy to use or will i struggle? maybe i just need to try and find a free download of 2007? all help appreciated

You may download AutoCAD Mechanical 2012 free trial from the following link.

The new features and modified dialogs might be different from 2012 to 2007 as a lot could have changed in 5 releases.

Further, I don't have a list of commands or features that are updated from 2007 to 2012.
