Detail DIMs

I have a user who says his Mechanical shows the true DIM when he Dims a Detail view. When I create a Detail view it automatically doubles the scale. Then when I Dim a part it shows correctly. So on mine a 1" part gets blown up to 2" because of the 2:1 scale. But it still measures out at 1". His drawings he does the same thing Adan the part measures out at 2".

Any ideas what would be causing this?

Hi Andrew,

Can you check the DIMLFAC system variable value on your machine ? (Try changing the value to 2, if its not).

Can you send me a drawing where your detail view scale is doubled ?
