Default program issue

Every time I double-click on a dwg file, it automatically opens it with AutoCAD Architecture. I tried going to "open with" and setting the default program used to AutoCAD Mechanical, but it doesn't work the next time I double-click to open. I tried using "browse" and navigating to the AutoCAD Mechanical folder and choosing the ACAD.exe file straight from there, but that doesn't work either. If I open AutoCAD Mechanical first ,then double-click on the dwg file, it will open just fine in Mechanical.

Windows 7, AutoCAD 2012 (Factory Design Suite)

I attached a screen shot of the "open with" dialog box and you can see that there are two AutoCAD Apps in it. I don't know how to delete or clear the recommended programs. Remember, I did in fact click the browse button in the lower right and navigate to the AutoCAD Mechanical folder and selected the ACAD.exe file from there.

Use AutoCAD dwg launcher as the default program. Should be in C:\Program Files\Common Files\Autodesk Shared\AcShellEx for 64-bit.

Now I'm stuck again. I had to open a DWG file using 'DWG TrueView2014' to convert the dwg file to use with AutoCAD2012, now every time I go to open a dwg file directly from windows explorer, it opens with DWG Trueview. I followed the instructions that I got from Jacob that worked before, but it no longer works. I don't know what is different this time. Can anyone help? Thanks.
