Change the double click response - ATTEDIT

Is there a way to change what happens when you double click an object, to edit it?

The one that bothers me most is attribute editing on blocks. I don't like the advanced attribute editor...I use the old ATTEDIT (via shortcut) but It would be more productive if I could double click the block to activate ATTEDIT.

I'm sure there must be other people who would want to change the command that is activated by a double click.

I also use the old command rather than the new one...but haven't found what
your asking, would be brilliant though.

I think you can use CUI command to config the double click action for
Attribute Blocks.

That's great news. My company is on the subscription program so I should be getting 2007 when it comes out.

I've found what I was looking for.

Paste this line
(defun c:eattedit() (command "ddatte"))
into your acaddoc.lsp file.
