BOM Calc

I want to calculate the total cost of items in a parts list
I have create new columns Cost and Total and have set the equation in the total column to be =QTY*Cost
but this does not update if new items are added or deleted
the values stay the same
I am sure this was done previously in earliear versions

I'm not 100% sure of this but, try adding the items to the BOM, not the Parts List. I seem to remember this working.
