Windows 7, Autocad Mech 2013 was installed with admin rights and all is working well if you are admin equal.
Our policy for standard users is to not have admin authority on windows 7.
The user logins in... clicks the Acad-Mech icon, the install starts then erros out...
Error 1324 The folder path 'My Documents' contains an invalid character.
We have added user full rights in areas like c:\program files etc... Still no luck.. same error appears above..
I have reviewed several blogs etc... but did not find one to address this issue directly about general users
on Windows 7. I found a couple general ones but not one specifically discuss in detail solutions using Windows 7
describing Regisrty/Windows 7 direct changes that are required.
Is there a solution I can be directed to that I may have missed or does a user need Admin equal on Windows 7.
