Can someone help to convert the attached .DWG file to IGES format (Solid?)? I need it for VMC machining. I do not have autocad and don't know how to do it.

Iges file attached. DWG is 2D, is that what you wanted converted ?

Thanks for your help. I am not conversent with the terminology. When you say it is 2D, did you expect a 3D autocad file for converting it in IGES?
The files which you gave me (.XLO, .XLI and .IGS) are those sufficient for the machining? I can not see the contents of those.

Basically in 2D it is just the same as the paper drawing but in another format. The machinist could possibly use one of the views as a start point and program in the 3rd dimension manually. Ideally the IGES file would be a model, converted from an AutoCAD model.

Hello. I have created a .dwg file in AutoCad 2005 but my machinist needs an Iges file...... can anyone please convert this to an Iges file? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.
