AutoCAD Blank Ribbon

I having trouble with the Ribbon in AutoCAD on my system.  It shows up completely blank.

The menu appears blank as well.  (note the large black rectangle on the left side of the screen.)

If I switch to classic view, the toolbars hovering over the title bar are still blank.

I have tried 4 different version of AutoCAD, (Mechanical 2010, Inventor 2010, Mechanical 2011, & Inventor 2011).  All have the same results.

And three different video cards.

Nvidia Quadro FX 1100

Nvidia FX4000

Nvidia GeForce 6200

I've installed the latest drivers from the nVidia site for each card.

If I remove all nVidia drivers, and run as standard VGA, the Ribbon and menu ARE visible.  But the system runs very slowly.
This system does not have an onboard video adapter to disable.

Can anyone help me with this?

If you are running Win 7 with an Aero theme, turn it off.  Does that help?

Ouch.  You have my condolences.

Are your workspaces set to "Use transparency" for the various palette-based tools?  This is looking more and more like a video card conflict then. I also see the hardware acceleration is turned off in all your screen pics.  Best I can suggest after trying so many options is clean your system as thoroughly as possible to ensure you don't have any legacy drivers causing problems, ensure all supporting software (e.g. .NET frameworks, Windows) is patched and updated, and start fresh with the AutoDesk recommended drivers, followed by a support request via subscription or reseller.

I tried the Transparency setting.  Tried both on and off, no change.

The system is clean.  I've wiped the hard drive and did a fresh install of Windows, twice.  Only loading the necessary Graphics driver.

Thanks for the help.

I'll try opening a support call and shee where that gets me.
