Autocad 2014 to Mechanical 2014 upgrade

We recently upgraded from Autocad 2014 to 2014 mechanical. Should we uninstall Autocad 2014 now? They seem to be using the same files, so I am not sure what would happen.

Hello Robert!

 

As both programs were installed separately they would operate independently of one another, and thus you could uninstall AutoCAD without impacting AutoCAD Mechanical.
