Annotative Power Dimensions problems

I've set up my dimensions to be annotative with 3/32" text and 3/32" arrows.

I've got my annotation scale set as 1/2" = 1'-0"

When I draw a dimension with AMPOWERDIM (the default dimension button), my resulting text and dimensions are 3/64", half of the size that they should be.

When I draw a dimension with DIMLINEAR, it is scaled correctly.

My dimstyle is "3I Standard" and there is a sub-dimstyle "Linear".

Both of these are set up as annotative.

If I go to Properties of one of the AMPOWERDIM dimensions, the dimstyle says "3I Standard$0". If I switch that to "3I Standard", then it scales correctly.

In Properties, under "Fit>>Dim Scale Overall", the AMPOWERDIM shows "0" and the DIMLINEAR shows "12".

What is going on? How do I make the power dims act like everything else? Am I missing a variable somewhere?

See last post in this thread concerning AMSCAREA command: http://forums.autodesk.com/t5/AutoCAD-Mechanical/Dimensions-ignoring-dimscale/td-p/4380271
