AMtext7 Settings

Hello!
Is there a way to change the default styles of
AMtext3.5
AMtext5
AMtext7
or this is hard coded?
For example 7 to become 6?

Hi,

The text style is hard-coded into AMTEXT7, 5 etc commands. Thus you would have to customize own toolbars with the following macro in order to get the custom text heights.

^C^Cmtext;\h;6;
^C^Cmtext;\h;4;

We need the functionality of AMText commands, which most valuable is that recognizes the scale area.
Why all companies have to work with textsize 7,5,3.5?
Pls, take care.
Thank you!

AMTEXT commands are provided as utilities for quick access to the most common text height creation. Why these 3 (3.5, 5, and 7) are chosen is because they represent 3 typical text objects defined in Object Property Settings (AMOPTIONS->AM:Standards) that controlling layer, color, linetype and lineweight. BTW, you can change the text height during the command.

If you're looking for something more flexible, AMNOTE is probably the closest. It has a leader but can be turned off, and it works like any other Mechanical symbol text, react to scale area changes. If this still doesn't meet your requirement, can you send me an email at yun.liu@autodesk.com for more discussion?
