AecbFillet command not allowed

My office is currently using AutoCad MEP 2011, 2012 and 2013.  I currently use the 2012 version and have recently started having issues since 2013 was installed on our CAD manager's computer.

I have a drawing with a baseplan xref'd that was created in 2013 and exported to 2010.  When I try to FILLET using the ribbon button, I get the command not allowed because drawing contains objects from a newer version of this application error.  Can this be fixed.  I am working around it by typing 'F' at the command line, but have a habit of using the ribbon.
