A problem from a client - has anyone had something similar?

When creating a DXF output for their “FASTCAM” package, it doesn’t understand the DXF output of parts like holes etc – they are “intelligent” blocks. Can this be overcome? (Script to “explain” to the “FASTCAM” package that the block just represents a 10mm hole or whatever?)
