2012 Mechanical "cannot copy to clipboard" message

Suddenly started getting an error when trying to use Ctrl C to copy to clipboard.

"copy" in command line works, just the Ctrl C gives the error.

Happens whether copying a single line or a block and irrespective of 2d or 3d etc.

I have tried drawings small and large, 650kb up to 85mb.

Latest updates have been applied including service pack.

Computer is running windows 7 64bit 12GB RAM 12core i7

Outlook not installed (I have picked up that this sometimes causes issues)

The machine is not normally online, and is a machine just for CAD. No updates or modifications have been done to other software in the last few days.

This problem has started in the last 24hours and is driving me crazy!

Any help gratefully appreciated.

Hi,

From what you said, I am wondering is it because clipboard is full. Plese try to clear your clipboard by running

cmd /c "echo off | clip" in windows run first and reboot your machine to see if it's resolved automatically.

Thanks.
