Error Loading Acstandards Services

Hello Everyone,

When I start up ACAD Mech 2006, it loads normally until a point and says:

Error Loading Acstandards Service. Then a window wil pop up and it says this:

Fail to Create Commcntrclient Object!

Acad will continue to load and will work.

Do I need to re-install ACAD or is there something else I need to do?

Hi Allen,

Usually the cause of this message is from a bad install or a registry tool that changed the AcadM configurations (Fix-It, Norton Systemworks, etc).

This message is that ACAD can not connect to the Communications Center. Performing a repair install should fix the registry issues. Else you may have to go through a complete uninstall and reinstall.

Please follow steps to uninstall and reinstall using the below technical solution.

How did you repair the registry... I am currenlty having the same issue and would like to resolve it without reinstalling.

Launch Control Panel>>Add/Remove Programs>>Select AutoCAD Mechanical>>Uninstall/Change>>In the uninstallation page>>Select "REPAIR" option.
