Video Card Question

Does anyone have a recommendation for a reasonably priced but good video card for M3D 2014.  Windows 7, Intel Core i7-3770 cpu@3.40GHz, 0YXT71 motherboard, 465.7 gb HDD, AMD Raedon HD 7470, 1024.0 Mb Video Controller.  That is what is currently installed but the mouse is very jerky and slow and the grips do not land on the line to be chosen.  Sometimes if you reboot multiple times it will get better but then it starts again.  We have done a repair as well as an uninstall reinstall.  As well as checking all of the settings.

Did you just try to disable the HW acceleration?

Enter your Autocad icon, and add the switch /NOHARDWARE after the string "acad.exe", sir.

Check the drafting setting
Turning off for now (and turn back on as needed).
 osnap (F3),
3d object snap (F4)
Snap (F9),  also you can set snap spacing to  (0.5) or less.
Polar tracking (F10)
<Object Snap Tracking off> (F11)

this help me.

You can find some information here:

In the past I have had also some such a problems with graphics card, therefore I tried to find suitable driver. Not always the new driver is the best.

Hello

YES sometimes the latest graphic card driver from ATI/NVidia/etc is the wrong driver !

So please test and install an older one ...

Please do some tests WITH and WITHOUT hardware acceleration ...

Bye, Pat
