Validation of Bug in AutoCAD Map 3D 2015 - Query Current Drawing..

Just a sanity check, anyone running AutoCAD Map 3D 2015 in Windows 8 or 8.1..

Open a blank drawing - or any DWG.

In Display Manager, click Data > Add Drawing Data > Query Current Drawing..  - FATAL ERROR and CRASH

Same command in Windows 7 - no problem.

Is it just me?

Maybe a "stupid" remark, have you installed the SP 2 for MAP 2015 ?

But I agree with you, in France some people with MAP 2015 on Win 8.0/8.1 report strange aleatory problem/bug which are not present on Win Seven !

Oh?  It works for you in Windows 8?

I have tried SP2  and turning off hardware acceleration.

Yes, it does the same thing to me when I try to query any attached drawing in Map 3D 2015 in Windows 8.1.  No problems in Win 7.

Verify the fatal error here with Win 8, could not even get Map3D to run after upgrading to 8.1 .

YES an awful Bug !

The SP 2 for ACAD 2015 and for ACAD LT 2015 has just been released !

So we will get a SP 3 for MAP 2015 in some weeks ... We are going to pray for this Bug solved !!
