TIFF color

Hi, Could someone tell me how i can plot plot a tiff image in color black. My plot is always grey no mater if i change the color of my tiff or .ctb The CTB setting = color of all the pens black. Should i have to make other settings in my ctb file to get my tiff in color black ? Kind regards, Petd
