Text from OS MasterMap .gz files

Hi all,

I wonder if you can help us, we are importing UK Ordnance Survey MasterMap .gz files into Map 3D 2013. We are following the tutorial from AutoDesk and from Edina succesfully to an extent. But the text from the MasterMap file (places/road names/house numbers etc) doesn't appear in the drawing. We know the text is in the .gz from OS as it's rendered fine when imported into AtlasOps LT. Is there a way to get this into AutoDesk Map 3d?

Many thanks,

The text may be an attributte to a point type feature/object. If you are mapimporting the data you need to select create object data tables then use mapannoblocks to label them or run an alterproperty query and create text.

OS Mastermap annotation is usually held in under the Object Data Field NAME (unless Spot Heights when it is HEIGHT).  To properly format the text also the field ORIENTATIO for the rotation
