I've come across a very peculiar problem. When I try to enter a southern hemisphere coordinate into the coordinate tracker in degrees minutes seconds (ie -20d5'42.61"), AutoCAD Map can't seem to understand my entry. After I type in the coordinate and hit enter AutoCAD simply does nothing. But if I enter the coordinate in decimal format (ie -20.095170) the tracker understands without any problem.
Even Stranger- The coordinate tracker has no problem DISPLAYING latitude coordinates in the southern hemisphere with a negative number...It just won't accept it when I type it in.
Does anyone have any ideas on why I can't enter a negative latitude using the degrees minutes seconds format but have no problem entering a negative decimal degree coordinate?
Also should mention: I am sure "format Lat/Longs As D,M,S" is selected in the tracker.
