SDF performance

HI!

Please suggest  which solution performance is better:

  1. Each SDF for each layer(one layer have multi feature types)
  2. One SDF for all layers(one layer have multi feature types )

Question is if SDF keeps growing which solution is better.

It also seems that SDF compered to PostGis or Oracle have same performance when using large data sets.

Does SDF size have critical limit?

Hello

ONE SDF per Layer so you will have many SDF files ...

Or maybe you could use SQLite with many Layers inside ! and you will have only ONE SQLite file ...

Or maybe a few SQLite file for each type of layers

- cadastral layers

- sewer layers

- water layers

- energy layers

- etc

SDF and SQLite are very fast ...

Bye, Pat
