Save Drawing Cleanup settings?

Is there any way to save the drawing cleanup settings? I have a large
project and want to perform the same cleanup after each Query. The settings
change back to "Default" after the drawing is closed. Or is there any way to
change the "default"?

Hello Allen,

Unlike Map's import/export functions, there is no way of saving a 'profile'
for drawing cleanup operations. I suggest posting this 'wishlist' on the
map.wishes news group.

Hi Mark,

Thanks for the reply. The defaults must reside somewhere or else Map
couldn't revert to them when the drawing is opened again. Now my challenge
is to find out where. They are not in the acadmap.ini file so my next guess
is in the registry. I'm writing a Lisp routine to automatically activate
drawing, query certain objects from them and set views for plotting based on
a tessellated grid our County is divided into. The some of the objects in
the base drawing are 3D Polylines and I need to change them to LWPolylines
so a lintype can be applied. I'm trying to avoid any user interaction other
than entering the tile number. If I find a solution I will post it here.

Thanks again
Allen

Hello Allen,

If you are an ADN (Autodesk Developer Network) member you'll find more
information on using LISP, etc to automate the Map commands. One solution
that pops up and might prove useful is TS72350 (only available via ADN
website http://usa.autodesk.com/adsk/index/0,,723353-123112,00.html )

Thanks for the thought Mark but my programming skills do not measure up to
the ADN standards. I only do work sporadic work for in-house use. Mostly in
LISP and very specific to our environment.
