Save and restore PROFILES

I use MAP6 (2002) and MAP2004 in XP Pro,
and run several 3rd party design packages, which require different profiles, and I would like to set Desktop icons to start up in the different profiles. Following the instructions in the online Acad User Guide, and put /p PROFILENAME after the target, my system comes up with an error message when I select apply, and tells me that the target name is invalid. My IT/CAD support guru says that there is a specific way to enter this. Any ideas ??

Have you tried /p "C:\Full Path\Profilename.arg" ?

Would someone post their "target line for me to see.

here are mine:

"C:\Program Files\Autodesk\AutoCAD 2015\acad.exe" /ld "C:\Program Files\Autodesk\AutoCAD 2015\AecBase.dbx"/nologo /p "AutoCAD MEP MG's 2015"

"C:\Program Files\Autodesk\AutoCAD 2015\acad.exe" /p "AutoCAD MEP MG's 2015.ARG"

But they give me a message, "profile not found" & it loads the Vanilla profile, & then I have to load mine.

Thanks
