Repositioning Block Attributes

The -attedit command seems to be working differntly from the manner in which R14 did. When selecting an attribute to reposition, the attribute's from point is no longer on a grip or insertion point, but rather the coordinates of the selction pick. This makes it very difficult to control the expected outcome or the new position.
Any solutions or work-arounds?
Thanks
MS

Try this :options, selections, enable grips within blocks.

Hi Mike,

This is not an advertisement for our product but if you need a solution,
we have one in our GeoTools program. You can download it from our site
http://www.4d-technologies.com/geotools. Under the Blocks tools, there
is a command to edit the block attributes globally and independent of
the block graphics. Using this, you can slide any selected attribute by
any amount in the X or Y or both directions, either absolute or relative
to the rotation angle. Take a look if you are interested. This may be
what you need. If not, e-mail me with more info and let me see what can
be done.

Regards
Rakesh
