Question on Creating Polygon Topology...

I am a former ArcCAD user trying to figure out how to use my current data in Map...

Does Map have a way of reading in AutoCAD text values when creating polygon
topology so that external data can be linked or...can this only be done if the values
are stored as block attributes?

Deb,

it's not related to topology creation, but both is possible (with text
objects and block attributes). Please, check Map's documentation on the
'Generate Links' command for more details on how to do that.
