Queries and alter property question

Opps hit the "enter" too soon.
My question is when I attach multi dwgs and query in layers that contain differant blocks can I alter the properites on only certain blocks in the same query?
What I'm trying to do is bring in layers "1,2 & 3" that contain blocks "A,B & C" I want to scale block "B" but keep block "A & B" at the orginal scale. Is there a way to alter only the properties that meet only one condition and leave the rest alone or must it be done using another query?

Look into a range query or a thematic map. (Both
use the same concept.)

It will let you define property alterations based
on differentiating characteristics of the objects queried.

You should be able to set up two
ranges.

1 for block name = B

1 for block name = A or C

Good luck,

WIll
