Problems changing Coord systems

Following Jim C's instructions in a below thread I receive 100 error
messages "Can't perform datum conversion". I then press "OK" and end up
with a drawing at excatly the same coords as the old one.

Any ideas?

Hello Robert,

For detailed instructions on how to perform a coordinate conversion
(transformation) please refer to the technical referenced below:

If you are still receiving the error messages, the most probable reason is
that some of your data (points, lines, etc) lie outside the region defined
by the coordinate system that you are attempting to convert to.
