Previous Version AEC Objects Detected

Is there any way to disable this warning?

When I open drawings from others in Map 3D 2009 I get a warning with the
title "Previous Version AEC Objects Detected". The rest of the warning is
"Saving the drawing will update any AEC objects it it to the current
version, which will be incompatible with earlier versions". "This drawing
was last saved with an earlier version of the software".

The "Do not show me this message again" button has no effect. I do not have
or use or care about AEC. The drawings are not saved, so everytime they get
opened I recieve the message.

In the Options dialog, under "Open and Save", there is a checkbox for "Show proxy information dialog box".



This suppresses some of those annoying messages. Probably not all of them though. Hit the help button in there. It lists several system variables that might help.

Looks like adesk never provided an answer/solution for this. I'm having the same problem. I guess "Do not show me this message again" actually means show me this message again whether I want to see it or not. What a pain in the butt! I've searched everywhere for a way to completely disable this message and haven't found anything that works. Lots of suggestions but no bullet-proof solutions.
