Polyline with arc doesn't load properly into FDO data source

Hello there,

I have some polylines which i am wishing to load into Oracle FDO. When the polyline with an arc is converted to a polygon it slightly changes shape. I'm talking about 2-3 square feet on the area of an average 2D polyline.

Is there anyway to load these polylines with more precision?

You should not convert anything, sir.
If a mixed (i.e. lines + arcs) pline is closed, then the _MAPEXPORT command creates a shapefile with perfectly rounded arcs.
You have only to check "Treat closed polylines as polygons" in the Options window of that command.
