Points to Block Objects

I have to take point data from csv file into Map 6. Following a posting in the knowledge base, I used SDF loader to go from csv to sdf. I am importing the sdf file into Map 6.

I don't see an option to import the sdf data as blocks instead of points. Can I turn the points into blocks once in Map. I only see the option of placing individual blocks.

Help appreciated.

Hello Jason,

You can accomplish what you desire if you convert
the SDF to an ESRI SHP file. Basically, you'll have to import the SDF file,
export to an SHP file and then re-import the SHP file.  See solution
TS67232 for point to block mapping during import.
