object data and ID: hard question!

Hi all!
- I create a polygon topology using block with attributes.
- Topology creates an object data table (TPMCNTR_topo) with an ID.
How can I create an object data table (or a table in an external dbase)
that's the union of the two above?
Is it possible without making a query report, and importing the txt into
access?

Hi paolo,

You might be able to do this, but we recommend that you do not, because if
you ever edit or recreate the topology, the ID number will probably change.

Whyy did you want to do this?

Hi David,
thank's for your answer.
You are on right, that's a dangerous procedure, but maybe it could be useful
sometimes.
It's surely helpful if I use block attribute's ID and I want to
"automatically" merge this datas with topology's object data table.
