Not enough space on drive c:\temp\

We are getting an error message "Not enough space on drive c:\temp\" This error "message code 1232" is preventing a system running ver. 2007 - Windows XP - from writing back to the source drawings that are on the server. The PC has 36GB of free space, the server has a few GB of free space.

I found a message similar to this for an older version, and I have cleared all temp directories on the system + temporary internet files. It's with ver 2007 and the latest patch.

Update...

We heard from another user that had previously experienced a similar issue. What they did was increase the virtual memory settings in the Windows control panel. We increased it from (min 1500MB- max 3500MB) to (min 2500MB - max 4000MB) and now it works. I'd imagine that you could also set it to allow Windows to manage virtual memory for this to work, but this worked in our situation.

sweet... glad you found a work around...

just wanted to add, I was told long ago and far away (okay, fine, it was
right here, but, it *was* like 5 or 6 years ago, acad 2000, winNT), that
when using power-hungry apps like acad, you shouldn't let Windows manage
the virtual memory... some vague reference to burping. I don't know what the
rule is to on XP with 06 and my new(ish) pc, but, I typically go in and keep
that set fairly high myself and don't give windows the chance to muck with
it.
