Multiple open polyline offsets

I have a dwg in which multiple polylines are in different angles. actually these are al the centerline of roads. I want to offset these polyines on either side with some dist to make a roadwidth. later post offset that polylines has to be changed to different layer.

Can anyone help me in writing lisp for the same.

and  a search will find others.  I used               autocad lisp for offsetting lines            in google

Another way is to convert polylines to SDF or other GIS format  and create buffer around features.
