Multi-User Environment.........

I am a CAD Manager using AutoCAD 2000i Map R 4.5. We are trying to use the Project Workspace to Query a Drawing with Multiple users using the same source drawing. Everything is fine until someone tries to saveback or even adding objects to their save set....this is when things get really slow. What we need to know is....are we pathing something incorrectly that would bog down our systems? We have a network with 100mbps(CAT5)Cabling. 1 24 port 10/100 switch not fully populated (we have 10-15 users). Our server is 900mhz Intel P3, 524mb RAM, w/ 100GB total hard drive space. Any suggestions will help. Using this part of Map will really speed up our work process if we can get it going.
