Hi,

>> Can curve information be maintained after using the MP2LW lisp routine?

How should we know that as "MP2LW.lsp" is nothing standard for Map3D?

Either your find the author of this tool then ask him/her.

At least let us know where you have that tool from so we can look into it.

Hello

The nice routine MP2LW has been written by a French developper (Bruno) following my needs/ideas ...

The Goal : after a MAPIMPORT of Surfaces/Polygons, we get ONLY MPOLYGONs (I almost never enable the Option "Polyline" in the bottom)

BUT very often 99.99% of this MPOLYGONs should be standard 2D closed Plines but a few have to remain as MPOLYGONS because they are REAL MPOLYGONs ...

So the routine tests ALL the MPOLYGONs of the selection and transform them in standard 2D closed Plines

+ copy to the new 2D Plines : Object Datas and XDATAs coming from the Original MPOLYGON ...

and delete (if you want) the Mpolygons !?

- Of course Reals MPOLYGONS are not concerned

And that's ALL because most often we are importing with MAPIMPORT "good old" Shape Files

and they are NO Arcs or Circles in "good old" Shape Files !!

Bye, Pat
