missing Shp polygons in Map3D

When i load my shp parcel data into Map3D some of the polygons are gone. I can view some of it but when i zoom in it disappear!! Consequently i can not select it to edit or use it.

I guess this problem is similar to craigintx's problem:

Problems converting closed polylines to polygons
Posted by: craigintx

I created closed polylines from old linework for GIS use. I now have building outlines with attached object data. I need to convert to polygons, but when i try various methods, only about 80% of the outlines can be converted. I have a similar problem with SDF, but different outlines are affected. Does anyone have an idea what could be causing this?

HELP!

Additional info:
Although some of the polygons can't be seen when i zoom in or out or pan, some can still be selected. While some i just can't select.

Are you using th FDO provider to load your Shapefile Polygons or are
importing them in. The FDO provider still has a few bugs. If I remember
correctly, I think someone posted a similar problem when using the FDO
connection. I believe the fix was to use the standard import.

I had this issue as well. I did a standard mapimport of the polygons in question, then re-exported to a new shape file and the problem was fixed.

I am using FDO provider to load shp. Thanks for the heads up on the bugs. Also tried importing them and it also produced problems.

I am not sure if the problem was the version of ArcView (3.2) i initially used to create the polygon. Tried using a different version (3.3) and the disappearing polygons worked.

Thank you for the replies.
