Missing Annotation panel under Block Editor tab

Hello,

i noticed that AutoCAD Map 3D 2015 is missing Annotation panel under Block Editor tab. Is it because its no longer exist or am i missing something during the installation?

Courtesy of Autodesk Help.

  1. On the command line, type cui Enter
  2. In the “Customizations in All Files” panel expand “Ribbon<Tabs<Block Editor Contextual Tab”
  3. Scroll down to the end of the “Tabs” Section
  4. Expand the “Panels” section
  5. Scroll down to “Annotate – Block”
  6. Left click on “Annotate – Block” and drag up into the “Tabs” section and drop in between “Block Editor – Action Parameters” and “Block Editor – Visibility”(the section you expanded in step 2)
  7. Click “Apply” and “OK”

R,

I'm stumbling here on Step 2. I can't find "Block Editor Contextual Tab".

Alfred,

Thank you. With the help of the video I figured out why I couldn't find it. I was looking in the CUI of Civil 3D. When I open up Map I can find it. So I'm going to add it in Map, but I probably won't be able to use it in C3D. Oh well.

OK I found it. Doug showed the way in <<This Thread>>

It's buried deep in the Partial Customization Files. Very deep. Pack a lunch.
